I want to thank everyone who has been on my sketchbook journey for the last year. I enjoyed hearing about your sketchbooks and learning more about how you work.
My last post was in January and I have a very good reason for dropping off the Substack map!
My friend Leah Fox and I are opening an art space in Lancaster, PA. It is called Third Story and we have six art studios and a beautiful, light-filled common room which we will use as a gallery and gathering place.
We are knee deep in prepping the space and planning for our opening gallery exhibit on May 3.
If you are interested to see how our space progresses, I hope you will give us a follow on Instagram or sign up for our email updates on our website.
If you are local, I would love it if you came to our opening on May 3 to see the space in person. We have a terrific line-up of artists for this first show!
I may write here again - perhaps about the delights of running a gallery - or I may not. I am not sure how I will feel once the dust settles! I may run an in-person sketchbook workshop in the new space - who knows - everything feels possible right now!
